Kuwaiti team shine at Jet Ski Champ’ship

Kuwaiti Jet Ski team celebrates with their trophies during the United Arab Emirates Jet Ski Championship

The Kuwaiti Jet Ski team won three trophies of different categories in the third round of the United Arab Emirates Jet Ski Championship ongoing in Sharjah.

The most notable of the accomplishments was attained by the world champion and Red Bull sportsman Mohammad Burabea who came second in the Seating GP Senior Professionals category. In the same category, another world champion Mohammad Jassem claimed the fourth spot and the world-seeded Zaid Al-Zaidi came atop of his contenders in the Junior Stoke category.

In the Standing Expert category, Salem Al-Mutawa claimed the second position, while Nawaf Al-Farhan occupied the fourth position in the Senior Pro Ski category and Abdulrahman Al-Omar came fifth in the Professionals Stoke category after a technical error.

The team have been performing creditably well in international competitions and the next round of the championships will be held in Dubai on Feb 18.
