KUWAIT CITY, Dec 21, (KUNA): Kuwaiti athlete Yousef Al-Abdulrazaq emerged victorious Wednesday in the fifth and final round of the 2016 International UAE Aqua Bike Championship held in the UAE city of Sharjah.

In a phone call to KUNA, Al-Abdulrazaq said that he was ecstatic to have won such a prestigious international championship, organized by the Union International Motonautique (UIM) for the third time.

Moreover, he said that he was “proud to have represented Kuwait” in this championship, which is a testament to how dominant Kuwaiti athletes can be in major international sports championships, attributing his success to the support given by Public Authority for Sports (PAS) and Kuwait’s Olympic Committee.

Al-Abdulrazaq has amassed eight Aqua Bike championships in the last few years, a feat that is unparalleled in the history of this water sport.
