Kuwaiti not guilty of forgery

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 3: The Court of Appeals upheld the decision of a lower court and acquitted a citizen of forging Kuwaiti citizenship documents following the accusation of including a stranger on his file to get him Kuwait citizenship. Investigations revealed that the alleged stranger was registered in the citizen’s name illegally to make it possible for him to obtain Kuwaiti citizenship.
Attorney Dr Muhammad Munawer in defense of his client argued that the accusation is based on malice, and considered it abuse of official responsibility. He demanded compensation for his clients due to psychological and moral damages they have suffered as a result of the accusation
