Kuwaiti kills neighbour, stabs his son thrice over disputes

KUWAIT CITY, May 13: A 25-year old Kuwaiti citizen was arrested for killing his neighbor and stabbing the latter’s son twice in the neck and once in his hand. According to security sources, the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior few weeks ago had received a call about the murder of a Kuwaiti citizen in Oyoun area.

Securitymen and paramedics were immediately dispatched to the location and they found the murdered citizen whose corpse was referred to the Forensics Department. Securitymen had launched investigations to find the suspect.

While the investigations were underway, the victim’s son was attacked and stabbed twice in the neck and one in his hand. He was taken to the nearest hospital in critical condition for treatment.

Jahra securitymen managed to find and arrest the attacker, a 25- year old Kuwaiti citizen, who had fled after committing the crime.

Interrogations revealed that he was the one who had killed the first victim due to some ongoing disputes. He was referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.
