DOHA, Dec 23, (KUNA): Kuwaiti Jockeys won several medals within Qatar’s International Show Jumping Championship which began in the capital Doha, Thursday.Shaker Al-Khathmi, Marshoud Al-Marshoud, and Ali Al-Kharafi managed to snatch one gold and two silver medals at the tournament which saw the participation of 170 jockeys from 12 countries.Unfortunately, the Kuwaiti Jockeys will not be able to record the wins under Kuwait’s flag due to the ban imposed by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) on Kuwaiti sports.They will be competing under the banner of the International Federation for Equestrian Sports (FEI). The tournament will conclude tomorrow.
