KUWAIT CITY, March 13: The Kuwaiti jet skier Rashed Al-Dawas came second in the category (1GP) in the second round of the UAE Water Bike Tournament that concluded in Abu Dhabi on Sunday.
Al-Dawas told KUNA by telephone that the round witnessed competition among 55 contenders representing Kuwait, the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Britain, France, Denmark and Serbia, adding that there would be two more rounds, one due in Dubai and the last one in Abu Dhabi. The champion said he was elated to raise Kuwait Flag aloft. Al-Dawas won the world championship in the amateurs’ category (N/A), held in Arizona, the US, in October 2021., (KUNA)
