Kuwaiti gang fight over money; Sword suspect held

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 27: Acting on information the Ahmadi police rushed to Fintas and controlled a fight between some Kuwaitis who were involved in a dispute of financial nature, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added, the men used batons and whatever they could lay their hands on to get the better of the other. During interrogation police discovered that two young men were involved in a dispute over money and after they could not come to a reasonable understanding they attacked each other, with help of their friends.

Sword suspect held: Public Relations and Security Media Department of the Ministry of Interior has clarified a video clip circulated on social media in which three people were seen attacking two Kuwaitis with a sword at a commercial complex in Messila area, noting one of the suspects has been arrested while investigation is ongoing to arrest the second suspect who is still at large. It noted a warrant has been issued to arrest the third suspect who is currently abroad .
