Kuwaiti beaten robbed in Jahra industrial area

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 4: The Ministry of Interior announced securitymen are in the process of arresting a group of young men who assaulted and robbed an unidentified Kuwaiti inside the Jahra Industrial area, reports Al-Rai daily.

The Directorate-General of Public Relations and Security Media Department of the Interior Ministry said after the video clip showing the suspects attacking the Kuwaiti went viral, the victim went to the Taima Police Station and filed a complaint. When asked about the incident, he stated while he was driving along the Subbiya Road in the direction of Jahra, the suspects stopped him when he reached the entrance to the Al-Jahra Industrial City. They forced him out of the vehicle and beat him, took the vehicle keys and his wallet and escaped.
