Audience dazzled with artistic works
KUWAIT CITY, June 8: Twenty-two Kuwaiti female artists competed on Tuesday in presenting artworks that reflected their passion for transcending traditional methods in their paintings participating in the Kuwaiti Artists exhibition that highlight their creativity.
The participants in the art exhibition held by the Kuwaiti Society for Fine Arts, on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of its founding, dazzled the audience with creative works that simulate contemporary reality with color overlaps that evoke visual delight as a whole. In this regard, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Fine Arts Society, artist Abdul Rasoul Salman, said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the exhibition is a product of the workshops organized by the Society in order to refine skills that transcend traditional methods into the space of color creativity.
Salman likened the participating paintings to “familial moods and a visual memory with which the artists’ spirit and creative radiance interact”, which in their entirety formed aesthetic icons and visual messages that the female artists succeeded in conveying to others.
For his part, the exhibition’s sponsor, Director of the Civil Associations Department at the Ministry of Social Affairs, Khaled bin Shafl ot, said in a similar statement to KUNA that the participating artists presented artistic creations with purposeful messages and a high degree of excellence, praising their proficiency in their work, as well as the role of the Fine Arts Society in honing Kuwaiti artists and giving them the opportunity to showcase their talents. Bin Shafl ot stressed the keenness of the Ministry to combine efforts with various state institutions to support the participation of Kuwaiti artists in foreign exhibitions.(KUNA)
