KUWAIT CITY, June 20: Two men, a Kuwaiti and Syrian, who are believed to be in their 20s have been arrested and referred to the General Department of Drug Control because when they were arrested they were under the influence of drugs, reports Al-Rai daily.
The daily added, the men were seized in possession of Larika bottles in addition to nine small bottles of booze. According to a security source, patrolmen during a tour of the restaurant street spotted the suspects in a car waiting for food delivery.
They were apparently taken to task for blocking traffic and closing the entire lane and the patrol car pulled up behind the vehicle of the suspects to issue a traffic citation. At this point the officer discovered both men looked abnormal and when the vehicle was searched the contraband was found in the car.
