Kuwaiti abuses and threatens his girlfriend for breaking up relationship

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 12: Police are looking for an unidentified Kuwaiti for verbally abusing and threatening to cause his Kuwaiti girlfriend harm when she broke off the relationship with him, reports Al-Rai daily.

The woman filed a complaint with the Ahmadi police. In her complaint the woman said she was friendly with the man for two years in the belief one day he would propose to marry her.

However, she went on to say, each time the topic of marriage came, the man under some pretext stayed away from such discussions. The complainant added, when she broke off with the man he threatened to harm her and she sought police protection because he continued to chase her everywhere and contacted her at all times, causing embarrassment between members of her family and those around her.
