Symposium seeks to develop outputs, opinions and recommendation
KUWAIT CITY, Oct 27, (KUNA): The Arab Media Forum Authority announced Saturday that the 3rd media, technology and communication symposium will be held in Kuwait next November 5-6. Secretary-General of the Arab Media Forum, Madi Al-Khamis, said in a press statement that the forum will include workshops to discuss ways of organizing means of technology through the use of expertise of participants with academic and practical skills in the fields of media and communications.
He added that the work of the Forum (Information, Technology and Communication) will be attended by a number of specialists in media and technology to study the role of technology in the growth and development of government and private institutions and the direct impact of the technological revolution on changing the foundations and concepts of many other industries.
He explained that the forum also aims to organize means of technology that work through the Internet and to lay professional and legal foundations for such technologies, in addition to measuring the direct and mutual impact between media and communication and its implications on other sectors. He said that the forum seeks to develop outputs, opinions and recommendations to help workers in different media sectors, whether in government institutions, private or individual, to understand and develop the interrelationship between media and technology.s
