Kuwait SC were crowned champions of the Super Cup after comfortably overcoming Qadsia, 3-1. Qadsia broke deadlock in the seventh minute through Fahad Al-Ansari from a neat pass by the Ghanaian international Rashid Sumaila. Kuwait equalized in the 29 minute thanks to Hussein Salem’s long shot from outside the box.

Brazilian midfielder Rogerio de Assis Silva Coutinho added a second goal for Kuwait SC. Hussein Hakem made Qadsia mission even harder when he scored the 3rd goal in the 57th minute. The victory gave Kuwait SC their 3rd title since the start of the Super Cup competition. The game was held at the Peace and Friendship Stadium, the home ground of Kazma SC.
