KUWAIT CITY, Sept 6, (KUNA): Kuwait Municipality Board is keen on following up on the issue of State lands’ illegal occupation, a municipal official said on Thursday.The council, during a recent session, discussed a proposal to form a panel to look into illegal takeover of plots of land belonging to the State, exceeding one million square meters, said Humoud Al-Enezi, head of the Municipal Council Reforms and Development Committee in a statement to KUNA.Examination of this issue was adjourned to the forthcoming session, he indicated. The board previous session tackled plans for taking action against unlicensed occupation of State lands, “disappearance” of millions of dinars worth of bank guarantees and counterfeiting plus necessity of enforcing laws in this regard.
