DOHA, Nov. 7: Kuwait lost Saturday to Saudi Arabia 28-29 in the international handball men’s tournament held in Qatar. In a statement to KUNA, the Kuwaiti team’s Director, Fahad Al-Hajeri said that the Saudi team won due to its players’ experience, adding that Kuwait’s players take part for the first time in such championships.

In the first match, Kuwait managed to beat their Iranian rivals by 32-27. The tournament is held prior to the 20th Asian handball tournament scheduled in Saudi Arabia to be played on January 18-31. The event will qualify winning teams to the 2023 world tournament in Poland and Sweden, (KUNA)
