Kuwait Karting Championship ends

KUWAIT CITY, March 20: The Kuwait Karting Championship concluded on Saturday with the seventh and eighth rounds, which are the last two rounds for the current season 2022/2023. Strong competition was witnessed between the competitors in various categories until the last minute.

The results of the championship in the seventh round were as follows:-

1. Micro category – Abdulaziz Al- Sarraf in first place, and Muhammad Al-Ghadban in second.

2. Mini category – Khalifa Al- Khaled in first place, followed by Ali Hamed Boushahri in second place.

3. Junior category – Saqer Al- Maousherji in first place, followed by Jaber Athbi Al-Sabah in second and Yaqoub Al-Zanki in third.

4. Senior category – Fahad Al- Khalid in first place, Abdul Rahman Al-Sayer in second and Asma Gyash in third.

The results of the championship in the eighth round were as follows:-

1. Micro category – Abdulaziz Al- Sarraf in first place, and Muhammad Al-Ghadban in second.

2. Mini category – Khalifa Al- Khaled in first place, followed by Ali Hamed Boushahri in second place.

3. Junior category – Saqer Al- Maousherji in first place, followed by Jaber Athbi Al-Sabah in second and Yaqoub Al-Zanki in third.

4. Senior category – Fahad Al- Khalid in first place, Abdul Rahman Al-Sayer in second and Asma Gyash in third. Chairman of the Board of Directors of the club and the Kuwait Karting Federation Dr. Hamed Boushahri praised the technical levels of the players during the seventh and eighth rounds of the championship.

Commenting about the season, he indicated that the current season concluded after holding a number of strong tournaments, This will serve as a strong motivation for the contestants to compete in international competitions and represent Kuwaiti karting in the best manner possible.
