Kuwait Juniors handball team defeats UAE

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 21: The Kuwait Men’s Junior Handball team defeated UAE 37-23 in the second stage of second group competitions in the 9th Asian Handball Championship held in Bahrain. UAE suffered its second loss and remained without any points, while Kuwait with this win earned 2 points, first match Kuwait lost to Japan.

In the same group Saudi Arabia beat Qatar 27-24, Japan defeated Iraq 36 – 22, Iran beat India 64-14 and Bahrain beat Uzbekistan 28-21.

Kuwait will play against Saudi Arabia on 24th of this month and with Qatar on 26th August. First 5 teams will qualify for 2023 World Cup finals in Croatia
