Kuwait-France discuss military ties

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah during the reception of the French Minister of the Armed Forces, Florence Barley and her accompanying delegation.

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 4: First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah on Tuesday discussed in a meeting with French Minister of the Armed Forces Florence Barley important issues within the military. Kuwaiti Defense Ministry said in a press statement that the two sides discussed issues of common interest, particularly in the military field.

The French minister invited the Kuwaiti Minister of Defense to visit France. Kuwait’s Chief of General Staff of the Army Lieutenant General Mohammad Al-Khader, Ministry of Defense Undersecretary Sheikh Ahmad Mansour Al-Ahmad Al- Sabah, Deputy Chief of Staff General Abdullah Al-Nawaf Al-Sabah, France’s Ambassador to Kuwait Marie Masdupuy, and other French army chiefs attended the meeting.
