Kuwait football national team on Sunday defeated Saudi Arabia 2-1 in the 2019 West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) Championship’s Group B match.

Kuwait’s Hussein Al-Mousawi and Faisal Ajab scored the two goals, while Rabie Sufyani scored for the Saudi team.

Earlier, Bahrain won against Jordan 1-0 via Ismael Abdul-Latif in the same Group B.

The nine teams, participating in the tournament, are divided in two groups; with leaders of each group facing off at the final match scheduled for Aug 14. (KUNA)
