KUWAIT CITY, Jan 19: Kuwait’s national handball team beat Singapore 43-14 on Wednesday in their match at the 2022 Asian Men’s Handball Championship. The Kuwaiti team dominated the game from the beginning, therefore this victory takes the four-time Asian title-holders Kuwait to the next round of the tournament. Kuwait will face the nine-time champions and 2020 runners-up South Korea on Thursday to determine the first and second places of the Group.
Only the top two sides of each of four groups will make it through to the round-of-16 knock-out stages, with the top five sides in the tournament earning direct qualification to the 2023 World Cup. (KUNA)
