‘Kuwait currently has 178b in assets’

KUWAIT CITY, June 28: The State currently has KD 178 billion in assets compared to the previous fiscal year that ended on March 13, 2017 during which KD 166 billion was recorded, indicating 7 percent increase in assets, reports Al-Qabas daily quoting financial sources.

The same sources expressed satisfaction on the governmental strategy to rationalize expenditure and the tendency of adopt low risk investment policy with guaranteed revenues. They reiterated the financial commitment of the present fiscal year is about KD 19 billion, which is KD 600 million below that of the previous fiscal year.
