Kuwait beats Libya by 2-0 in FIFA international friendly

KUWAIT, Jan 29: Kuwait’s national football team managed a 2-0 win against Libya this evening as part of FIFA’s international break periods for the 2021-22 season. Playing at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium, Mubarak Al-Fanaini opened the score at the 8th minute, succeeded by his teammate Shabib Al-Khaldi early in the second half to extend the lead by two. This match and the next one on February 1st will be paramount for Kuwait as they scuffle to advance in the FIFA ranking. (KUNA)
