MANAMA, April 20, (KUNA): Bahrain and Kuwait will hold a joint high-level committee for cooperation between the two countries in Manama next Tuesday to discuss means of boosting relations and joint work in various sectors.

The committee expected to witness the signing of a number of agreements and memorandums of understanding that support all aspects of the relations between the two countries and means of enhancing them in various political, economic, commercial, cultural and other fields.

The Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, Ambassador of Kuwait to Bahrain Sheikh Azzam Al-Sabah, stressed on Saturday the importance of holding the tenth session of the High Joint Committee between the two countries. In a statement to KUNA, Al-Sabah said that the joint committee’s meeting will enhance the brotherly cooperation, stressing that it will be valuable to the distinguished relations between the two countries.

Sheikh Azzam stressed the deep historical, brotherly and distinguished relations between Kuwait and Bahrain. The tenth session of the joint Higher Committee is scheduled to be held under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain Sheikh Khaled bin Ahmad Al-Khalifa.
