Kuwait athletics team claim three medals at West Asian Games

BEIRUT July 5: Kuwaiti athletics team won on Tuesday three gold and two silver medals on the third day of West Asian Athletic Association (WAAA) U-20 Games, held in the Lebanese capital, Beirut. In a statement to KUNA, member of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Athletics Federation, Bader Al-Rashoud, said the player Dana Al-Azemi won the gold for (discus Throw) by achieving a distance of (35.67) meters.
In another contest, the player Mohammed Khan also managed to win the silver for (Hammer throw), achieving a distance of (56.56) meters. In the relay race, the Kuwaiti team won silver by the group of Mohammad Al-Enzi, Abdullah Al-Azemi, Abdullah Al-Munis, and Ayed Al-Teriqi. The Kuwaiti team won three golds, two silvers, and three bronzes in the past two days.(KUNA)
