Kuwait Airways former director jailed, fined for forging university certificate

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 11: The Court of Cassation sentenced a former director of Kuwait Airways Corporation (KAC) to seven years in prison and fined him KD320,000 for submitting a forged university certificate, which was used as basis for his promotion, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

The KAC Board of Directors filed the case against the former director, then the Public Prosecution charged him with forging an official document that he used to obtain promotion and the corresponding privileges.
