KUWAIT CITY, Sept 28, (KUNA): Kuwait’s KSR team won 10 cup titles amid participation in the world Jet Ski tournament with various types of competitions, which concluded on Monday in the US State of Florida. Team manager Ahmad Al-Dawwas, expressed in a phone call with KUNA, his utmost delight and pleasure for this achievement by the team, the first inception of this world tournament organized by pro-water course Jet Ski federation.
Al-Dawwas hailed the Kuwaiti team’s efforts and the leadership of Sheikha Misha’el Al-Duaij Al-Sabah for her support to the team and water sports in local and international sport events.
Kuwaiti competitor Rashid Al-Dawwas won first place in three competition cups, while Abdulaziz Al-Najdi won second place cup in two other competitions, and Bader Al-Qenai also won second place cup and third place cup in two different competitions, Al-Dawwas said.
Al-Dawwas added that Ahmad Al-Dawwas won the second place cup. The Kuwaiti official praised keenness by the Public Authority for Youth and Sport and the Kuwaiti Olympic Committee prior to this tournament and services they provided to the players.
The concluding tournament, which included beginner, amateur, and professional Jet Ski races, will witness the departure of Rashid Al-Dawwas and Bader Al-Qenai returning home. Abdulaziz Al-Najdi will participate in the annual Lake Havasu race in the State of Arizona on Oct 3-11.
