KPC to support SMEs

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 5: The Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) has announced that recently it has formed a team to study a mechanization to support the owners of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to allow them to bid for KPC tenders and its subsidiaries, reports Al-Qabas daily. In a statement to the press the CEO of KPC Hashim Hashem said this move is aimed at giving a bigger role to the private sector in the engineering and contracting works in the oil sector and supplying material from the local manufacturers.
