KUWAIT CITY, Nov 3: A military man working at the Kuwait airport in violation of military values, principles and reputation of the institution allegedly sexually harassed a Korean colleague inside the security inspection room at the new passenger building (T4), reports Al-Rai daily.
In the details, a security source said the security men working in the new terminal heard a scream from the security inspection room. They went off to find out what was going on there and to their surprise they found the colleague while the Korean inspection officer was crying, so they arrested him and took him to the airport security and protection office.
According to a security source, the victim told the interrogators the suspect called her into the inspection room and as soon as she entered, he closed the door, and had sexually harassed her against her will although she screamed for help.
The source added the protection department has referred the two to the authorities. Meanwhile, the Attorney General has remanded the two to police custody until investigations are completed.
