KNPC’s rate of Kuwaitization is almost 88% – ‘Total workforce hits 6,260 workers’

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 15: CEO of the Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) Waleed Al-Bader revealed that the company has employed 217 new employees, including 192 Kuwaitis, during the 2019/2020 fiscal year, affirming that this step was based on the company’s constant keenness to be an attractive institution for national workers, reports Al-Anba daily. He said, “One of the positive indicators is also that 73 employees completed the structured work training program (SOJT) during this year. This brings the total number of those who passed the training program since establishment of the program to 800 employees. It indicates that we now have an efficient cadre with specialized technical and practical skills.

This makes us confident that our new facilities will be managed by honest and capable hands”.
