KUWAIT CITY, May 4: The relevant departments at Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) raised suspicions on the red spot seen recently at Shuwaikh Port, so they collected samples to determine if it is poisonous or not, reports Al-Anba daily quoting sources. Sources explained the country usually witnesses such a phenomenon this time of the year when temperature gets higher and the rate of oxygen in water reduces, pointing out this phenomenon results in the death of seaweeds. Sources said KISR collected samples of water and dead fish in order to know the reasons behind the death of fish, affirming a comprehensive report will be released as soon as the results are out.
