King Salman receives Speaker

CAIRO, April 11, (Agencies): Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at his residence on Sunday Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly Marzouq Al- Ghanim and his accompanying delegation. Al-Ghanim conveyed to King Salman the regards and greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. King Salman, in turn, asked Al-Ghanim to convey his best wishes to His Highness the Amir, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA). The audience gathered, from the Saudi side, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Awqaf (Endowments), Call and Guidance Saleh bin Abdulaziz Al Asheikh, Minister of State Musaad bin Mohammed Al Aiban, Minister of Finance Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al Assaf, Minister of Commerce and Industry Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al Rabi’ah, Minister of State Essam bin Saad bin Saeed, Minister of Culture and Information Adel bin Zaid Al Toraifi, Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al Jubeir, and Ambassador to Egypt Ahmad bin Abdulaziz. Al-Ghanim was accompanied by MPs Faisal Al-Shaya, Awda Al-Rowaey, Humoud Al-Hamdan, Khalil Abul and Madhi Al-Hajeri, as well as National Assembly Secretary-General Allam Al-Kandari. Meanwhile, King Salman arrived in Turkey on Monday for a visit aimed at tightening increasingly close ties between the two overwhelmingly Sunni Muslim allies, receiving a lavish welcome that underlined the strength of relations.
