‘KD 877,000 total pay of 151 expat employees’

KUWAIT CITY, May 16: Finance Minister Dr Nayef Al-Hajraf said the salaries of 151 expatriate employees in the ministry total KD 877,000 annually, reports Al- Seyassah daily.

In response to the question of MP Dr Waleed Al-Tabtabaei, the minister revealed that 12 of these employees are receiving a salary of more than KD 1,500 monthly.

He added 43 expatriates were appointed in 2014, including three PhD holders, 12 Information Systems bachelors degree holders, six industrial diploma holders, 15 high school certificate holders, and seven with intermediate qualifications and above.
