KD 13 million fake meals? – A new corruption case

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 20: The Ministry of Interior is investigating the new corruption case which shows a number of supply companies are involved of providing approximately 15,000 fake meals a day at a cost of 2.500 dinars each at a total cost of 13 million dinars per year, reports Al-Qabas daily.

According to informed sources, the investigations have proved a number of former senior officials over the past few years have cheated the ministry. The issue has now been referred to the Public Prosecution after completion of all procedures in line with the implementation of the decisions of the Council of Ministers to fight corruption.
