KAC direct flights to US expected in August

KUWAIT CITY, July 14: The Kuwait Airways Company (KAC) is in the process of making final arrangements to operate the Kuwait-New York route again, reports Al-Anba daily quoting informed sources. The sources expect the route to be operational in August or September at the latest.

The sources said the process of operating direct flights to New York requires security approvals from the US Transportation Security Administration (TSA). It should be noted that the US authorities responsible for the airports of the United States of America require security matters before operating direct flights to US airports and are concerned with precautionary measures and security measures.
