KUWAIT CITY, April 2: Statistics issued last week by the Juvenile Prosecution did not reveal anything new about the reality of crimes and thefts in the country except about the age group of perpetrators of these crimes. These statistics sounded the alarm about the cases registered against those known to everyone as “children” who are just beginning their lives.

In 2021, the Public Prosecution registered a total of 398 murder, suicide, assault and theft cases against juveniles aged between seven and 18 years. Among them, 16 were accused of murder and suicide, and 226 of assault, two percent of which resulted in permanent disabilities.
