KUWAIT CITY, Sept 2: General Director of the Public Authority for Sports, Hmoud Fleiteh has said that the Kuwait national junior basketball team (under 16 years old) will receive full support during preparations for the Asian Cup scheduled for next year.
Fleiteh made the statement at a ceremony held by Kuwait Basketball Association (KBA) last night for junior players following their qualification for the Asian Cup after winning silver in the 16th Gulf Championship that was held in Bahrain. He added that the authority is keen supporting the team hand-in-hand with KBA. For his part, the head of the KBA Rashid Al-Enezi said that KBA will work to prepare players for the Asian Cup finals. Al-Enezi said the Asian Cup will not be easy but it would an added value for the players’ experiences., (KUNA)
