Jleeb, Mahboula isolation to end

KUWAIT CITY, May 27: The Ministry of Interior will no longer implement the regional quarantine policy in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh and Mahboula once the total curfew is lifted at the end of this month in accordance with the recommendations issued by the Ministry of Health.

Sources clarified the new security instructions issued to leaders tasked to oversee the designation of security officers in the two regions include intensification of round the clock security presence in these regions.

Sources said the instructions include taking immediate and firm action against anyone who violates laws, especially the preventive health regulations. Sources added the most important of these instructions is dealing with popular markets and gatherings of workers — one of the most noticeable features of Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh and Mahboula where the security checkpoints were established
