KUWAIT CITY, Nov 1: In the first ruling of its kind, the Court of Appeals has sentenced a citizen to seven years imprisonment for embracing the thought of DAESH terrorist group and luring others to join the banned organization, reports Al-Qabas daily.The court verdict is the first of its kind to be issued by the court against those who are sympathizing with DAESH even if the accused did not actually commit physical harm to others. Meanwhile, the Iraqi security forces manning their country’s border post at Safwan have arrested their citizen and charged him with terrorism, reports Al- Rai daily.According to the Iraqi news sites a security source said the 55-year-old Iraqi was wanted by the Court of Mosul for violating Article IV of the Anti- Terrorism Act. A reliable source said violation of Article IV of the Anti-Terrorism carries a life imprisonment or even capital punishment.
