KUWAIT CITY, May 3: The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) has called on employers not to hire any worker who is not under the company sponsorship to avoid being subjected to legal action quoting reliable sources.PAM has warned that the law stipulates that the violating employer shall be imprisoned for a period not exceeding three years or a fine not less than 2,000 dinars and not more than 10,000 dinars for each unregistered worker or both penalties if there is no more severe punishment.The Authority has launched awareness campaigns for the benefit of employers and workers on the importance of adhering to the law so as not to be subjected to any legal accountability.
