IVCC defeat Shaheen by 36 runs

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 17: IVCC (Indian Veterans Cricket Club) started 2nd edition of KVCC league tournament with victory over Shaheen. Batting first IVCC scored 210 in 20 Overs due to solid opening stand by Shekhar Sharma (33 runs) Alva (22 Runs). Khurram Akhtar was the major corntributor for IVCC scoring 74 runs in 41 balls with 9 Fours & 3 sixes.

Mohammed Akbar was the only batsman from Shaheen who fought well scoring 103 runs but rest of shaheen batting collapsed and could score only 174 runs in 20 overs due to some excellent bowling by Shakeelahmed (2 wkt for 9 runs) Naveed Ashraf (2 wkt for 28 Runs) &Jamshed (2 wkt for 30 runs) intheir allocated 4 overs. Khurram was awarded man of thel match for his brilliant batting performance
