Iraqi teen loses honor in Facebook friendship

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 18: An unidentified Iraqi teenaged girl has been arrested and referred to Forensics for having a love affair with an unidentified person that may have resulted in her pregnancy, reports Al-Anba daily.

The arrest came after the girl’s mother filed a complaint with the Hawalli Police Station. She accused an unidentified youth 20-year-old youth of luring her daughter with proposals of marriage and had sex with her. She also said the duo met on Facebook.

The complainant said the suspect invited her daughter to his house under the pretext of introducing her to his mother and sister and raped her. Police have summoned the youth for interrogation
