Indians called upon to collect ECs

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 5: The Embassy of India in a press release said it has been issuing travel documents including Emergency Certificates (EC) for those registered with the Embassy who have submitted their completed application forms. The embassy is regularly contacting them through telephone calls, WhatsApp messages and emails to distribute their printed travel documents.

Those who are prepared to avail the concessions offered by the government of State of Kuwait though its notification of Nov 24 and who do not possess valid travel documents, may contact the Embassy urgently and apply for ECs at the special EC counter at the Embassy.

Please note that the ECs will be distributed only to the respective applicants. While ECs are regularly collected by most applicants, some ECs are yet to be collected by. The Embassy is contacting the applicants over telephone to collect the ECs. It is reiterated that a helpdesk has been set up at the Embassy for receiving applications for ECs and to answer any queries on availing the concessions announced by the State of Kuwait.

The Embassy is also pleased to announce the launch of ‘Indian Professionals Network (IPN)’, which will be the Embassy’s primary outreach platform for Indian professionals and experts in Kuwait, says a press release issued by the Indian Embassy. In this regard, all Indian professionals in Kuwait, from all professional fields, such as scientists, academicians, professors, medical professionals management executives, chartered accountants, financial experts, economists, scholars, etc. are advised to register with the network and be a part of this outreach initiative.
