Indian run over – Pakistani Infiltrator held

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 16: The remains of an Indian, who was run over by an Egyptian in the Ardhiya Industrial Area, have been referred to Forensics, reports Al-Rai daily. The motorist has been referred to the concerned authorities. Meanwhile, the Hawally police are investigating the death an Egyptian who allegedly ended his life by jumping from the sixth floor of a house located in Nugra, reports Al-Anba daily. As soon as the security sources received reports about the death from a Jordanian, paramedics rushed to the spot and found the man in a pool of blood sprawled on the floor, face sideways. A case has been registered.

Infiltrator held: The Rabiya police have arrested an unidentified Pakistani for entering the country illegally, reports Al-Shahed daily. The daily added, during interrogation the Pakistani admitted that he was smuggled into the country from Saudi Arabia by a trucker by hiding him inside a barrel. He has been handed over to the General Department of Residence Affairs. Meanwhile, a Syrian has lodged a complaint at Hawally Police Station against a Filipina employee in his restaurant as she allegedly stole KD1,000, reports Al-Anba daily. A case was registered and investigations are underway to verify the Syrian’s claim.
