Indian maid survives as Kuwaiti sponsor shoots her twice

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 10: An unidentified Indian domestic worker who was shot by a Kuwaiti who is believed to be in his 30s has been admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of the Adan Hospital, reports Al-Seyassah daily. The man, who is believed to be psychologically ill, fired two bullets at the maid leaving her in a pool of blood. The daily did not say if the suspect has been arrested but an attempted murder case has been filed against the suspect. The maid’s condition is believed to be stable.
