KUWAIT CITY, Feb 17: An Indian expatriate committed suicide inside a building in Mahboula area. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the suicide, securitymen rushed to the location with paramedics and saw the victim with a rope noosed around his neck and dangling from the stairs of the building where he lived. The body was taken down and paramedics checked to confirm his passing away. Officers from General Department for Criminal Evidences were summoned to the location. The corpse was referred to the Forensic Department. Investigations have been launched to determine the reason behind the suicide.

13 face deportation: The General Traffic Department during surprise campaigns in several areas of Kuwait over the past week has issued 29,711 traffic citations, impounded 1,493 vehicles, and referred 41 motorists to the concerned authorities for committing grave traffic offences, reports Al-Anba daily. During the campaign the GTD has also seized 12 vehicles wanted by law and some reported stolen. Thirteen expatriates who were caught for driving without licence have been referred to the Deportation Center.
