Indian dies in car – Probe launched

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 24: Personnel from Criminal Evidences Department have referred the remains of an Indian to Forensics, reports Al-Shahed daily.

The daily added, the victim was found inside his vehicle. Acting on information paramedics and police rushed to the spot and discovered the victim had died a short while ago.

The investigations are underway to identify the reasons and consequences of the death. Meanwhile, personnel from the Farwaniya Security Directorate have arrested an Indian for possessing 19 bottles of locally-manufactured booze and staying in the country illegally, reports Al-Rai daily.

According to security sources, the Indian who was caught in Khaitan during routine patrolling was reported absconding by his sponsor. The suspect and the contraband have been referred to the General Department for Drugs and Alcohol Control.
