Indian cheats citizen of KD 20,000 in fake estate deal; 2 airport officers referred

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 31: The principal of a school in Ahmadi Educational Zone referred a teacher to investigation for attacking the head of her department in a fight, reports Al- Shahed daily. Passersby are said to have heard someone screaming in the quarters for teachers and later seen the teacher pulling the hair of her department head in a fight. They managed to separate them, and the teacher left the school in a hysterical state. The director filed a complaint and necessary action was taken against her.

Meanwhile, an Indian was arrested in connection with a fake real estate deal in which a Kuwaiti citizen lost KD 20,000. The citizen filed a complaint with officers in Hawalli police station and accused the Indian of cheating.

2 airport officers referred: Two officers assigned to Kuwait International Airport and the Criminal Investigation Department respectively have been referred to relevant authorities for reckless activities and other violations, reports Al- Shahed daily. Sources said acting chief of Jahra Security Directorate Colonel Waleed Al-Shehab Officers directed his men to embark on a campaign after receiving complaints about several youths taking advantage of the recent rain to perform stunts and other reckless activities with their cars. They apprehended two security operatives with other youths during the raid. Orders were given by the security chief to refer all suspects for investigation.
