Indian arrested – Liquor bottles seized

KUWAIT CITY, June 24: Police have arrested an unidentified Indian for selling locally-manufactured booze, reports Al-Rai daily.

The daily added, the arrest came when police suspected the bootlegger because while driving in Mahboula he stepped on the gas pedal and increased the pace to escape from police. However, the man was chased and ordered to pull over.

When police checked his ID, he looked disoriented. Police then searched the car and found 52 bottles of booze hidden in the trunk of the car. He told the interrogator that during day time he works as delivery man for a food company and at night he works for another man to sell booze. Police are looking for the manufacturer of the booze.
