KUWAIT CITY, Nov 25: An Indian expatriate was apprehended in Farwaniya area for trafficking in narcotics. He was in possession of 28 sachets of heroin and 29 sachets of shabu ready for sale.A security source said the illicit drugs worth thousands of dinars were recovered when security operatives raided the suspect upon instructions from Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs Major General Ibrahim Al-Tarrah following a tip-off the sector received about his activities. Meanwhile, patrolmen on a round of Farwaniya area arrested a citizen in possession of illicit pills Roosh. He was referred with the items to concerned authorities.An Egyptian expatriate was also arrested in the Capital for possessing hashish, while Ahmadi securitymen nabbed an Asian expatriate in Mahboula area for peddling in liquor. They confiscated 35 bottles of readymade gin from his keep, and referred him to concerned authorities.In another development, an Asian expatriate was arrested in possession of a number of liquor bottles, reports Al-Seyassah daily. According to security sources, Farwaniya securitymen were on routine patrol duty when they noticed a man walking and carrying a big bag. They immediately asked him to stop but the suspect dropped the bag and ran. Securitymen chased him and eventually caught him.
