Implementation of compulsory fingerprint attendance makes 200 staff resign

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 13: Around 200 employees have resigned from the State Ministry for Services due to the compulsory fingerprint attendance system that the Civil Service Commission (CSC) applied in all ministries effective October 2017, reports Al-Anba daily quoting a reliable source from the ministry.

The source revealed the ministry has contacted the Public Institution for Social Security (PIFSS) and CSC regarding the resignation of the staff, confirming the ministry is now preparing to fill up vacancies including supervisory posts either through representation or new appointments.
